Martin Rushworth is based in Malaysia and is active in rolling out enzyme processing at all stages of the palm oil value chain. Born and educated in the UK, his 30 year career with Unilever spans three continents and eight countries. He was COO and then CEO of Unilever national businesses covering oil palm, oil refining, oleochemicals, and consumer goods. In 2004 after managing the sale of Unilever’s Malaysian oil palm operations to IOI Corporation he set up Clearwind consultants. In 2011 he joined Felda Global Ventures for a three year period as Head of the Downstream Division and helped in their IPO listing. Since then he has been a consultant to the global leader in industrial enzymes rolling out their enzyme platform for palm oil with the major industry players.
